Glommaguide
book-edition
The book edition of the GLOMMAGUIDE consist of two separate parts: You will find
the text (in Norwegian and English) in one book, and the 27 large scale (1:18.000),
detailed maps in another. One map describes about 10 kilometers of river.
You can order the book-edition with your VISA-card, postal money
order or cheque drawn on a Norwegian bank. Payment must follow
your order.
The book-edition of the GLOMAGUIDE contains the following information:
- How to fish the area from January to December.
- Fish species.
- How to identify the most ”trouty” river-stretches.
- What to do when the fish is not biting.
- Fishing regulations.
- Hotels/motels/cabins for hire.
- Cultural and other points of interest.
The maps contain the following information:
- Current-speed.
- Water depth marked as very deep, deep, wadable and shallow.
- Potientially interesting stretches as seams, tail of the pools, pools,etc.
- Heigth above sea level.
- Hotels/motels/cabins for hire.
- Post offices/grocery stores/gas stations.
- Where to buy a fishing licence.
- All roads leading to the river.
